Organization Background

Uganda Reproductive Health Bureau is an indigenous non-profit making organization that was formed and registered with the NGO Board in Uganda under the NGO statute of 1989. This was after realizing that adolescents in Uganda lacked adequate knowledge on their own sexuality and reproductive health which puts them at a high risk of HIV/AIDS, STDs and other communicable diseases, unwanted pregnancies, early child bearing and other rights.

Since 1994, we have been working to improve on the health status of young people aged 10 - 24 years in school and 15-30 out of school in the five districts of Kamuli, Bugiri, Jinja, Kaliro and Kampala. Currently the organization is managing 2 Branch offices and 3 Medical centres in Bugiri and Kaliro districts
